The new Cometto ETL platform with hydrostatic drive and hydro-mechanical forced steering is a real powerhouse, because the vehicle has a payload of 36.9 t per axle at a maximum speed of 10 km/h.
The hydraulic axle compensation also enables smooth loading.
Start-up help through on-site instruction
The Cometto ETL 3/2 serves at Tronox to transport the ladles between the metal preparation plant and the storage facility.
Following on-site instruction by engineers from Cometto, the ETL 3/2 will be in operation in South Africa from September onwards.
