Goscor Lift Trucks (GLT), a player in the industrial warehousing equipment sector, has announced the rebranding of the Doosan forklift line in accordance with the global Doosan Bobcat strategy
With a history stretching back to 1968 (when manufactured under the Daewoo brand), Bobcat forklifts have more than made their mark in Africa and across the globe, becoming the premier brand of GLT, a prominent member of the Goscor Group.
In 2005, Doosan acquired the company and formed Doosan Industrial Vehicle (DIV) in 2011. Following Doosan Bobcat taking over the line in 2021, forklift trucks and warehouse equipment will now carry the well-known Bobcat colours as of 1 January 2024 as part of a global rebrand strategy.
GLT was working with the brand in 2005 when the Daewoo forklifts were converted to Doosan and, as such, has first-hand experience in implementing this process. As such, it has asserted that is well-positioned to support in this endeavour and has registered its delight at being able to introduce the rebranded machinery in the new year.
GLT business development director, Patrick Barber, affirmed, “Recognised for its extensive range of electric and diesel-powered forklifts, along with exceptional after-sales service, GLT has established itself as a dynamic forklift company offering comprehensive warehousing solutions with the lowest total cost of ownership. Today, GLT is a leading supplier in the South African materials handling industry.”
Under the Goscor umbrella, Bobcat loaders and telehandlers, will continue to be sold through Goscor Earthmoving Equipment business unit.
