It was announced on 27 April that ConMin West Africa will be officially opened by His Excellency Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

On Tuesday 13th June 2017, His Excellency will make his way to the Abuja International Conference Centre to inaugurate the opening sessions of the National Mining Summit and declare ConMin West Africa open for business.

The Vice President’s attendance signals the importance of the event in the eyes of the government and the incremental part it is playing in helping support Nigeria’s mineral development.

ConMin West Africa is attracting attention from across the supply chain; exhibitors will include equipment providers; geological and geotechnical companies; law firms; political risk firms and machinery suppliers.

As such, both the National Mining Summit 2017 and ConMin West Africa provides an ideal platform for investors, miners, government officials and service providers riding this wave of renewed confidence and optimism to forge new business opportunities and partnerships.
