Contract for Egyptian cabling

The entire project includes the implementation of the entire network infrastructure and backbone with R&M’s advanced enterprise cabling products including R&M Cat 6 copper cabling and fiber om2 cabling throughout Toyota Egypt’s branches and service centers across the country. Additionally, select branches are also deploying R&M’s new revolutionary to the industry Cat. 6A solution for greater performance and reliability.
Toyota Egypt is part of the regional conglomerate Al-Futtaim Group and is the sole distributor for Toyota Motor Corporation products in Egypt with full service centers nationwide for sales, service, and spare parts. The company has a total of six branches/centers in Egypt with three in Cairo, and three in Alexandria. “Our network infrastructure requirements were quite rigorous. We sought a complete end to end solution coupled with high quality components and flexibility for future planning to ensure a future proof investment, said Hossam Ismail, IT Director, Al-Futtaim Group, Egypt. “Given our criteria, R&M was the clear choice due to their advanced cabling product portfolio, zero defect components, and forward looking designs.”
The Toyota Egypt project is being led by R&M's partner, ElSalam for Engineering Equipment 'QUIP', a well known Egyptian systems integrator. QUIP has recently completed a new datacenter for Toyota Egypt and a number of key installations in a wide variety of sectors such as oil, banking, telecom, education, and the governmental public sector. Each technical team member is also a certified R&M installer.
